Another day in the Garden!

I really really want to sew but another day outside in the garden might restore my 'plain old tidy organised backyard' from the safari adventure it was.
Day 4 of my holiday, Day 5 will be a stocktake of the club library books and after that my time!!!! Yay, I do want to finish George's batik quilt, and do another row or two of my mystery quilt from the quilted forest and then start my hydrangea one.
AND DIET! The time has come to take this seriously.

So here I go back into the hot sun here in Palmerston North, hat on, cream on, sneakers and shovel waiting at the door.

Hi Karen,

How lovely to have you visit my blog. Good to catch up with you again.

I hope that you have had a good Christmas and that your holidays will be fun. Gardening or quilting! -good to have some spare time.

Dad and Mum are doing well but I think they have found it so much harder, the age they are.
I stayed down with Mum while Dad was in hosp.

All the best for 2009 ~ hope that it will be a good year for you.

Hi Karen

Thanks for the encouragement for finishing my quilt. I am back working on it, but I'm still not sure how far I will get. I hope to get it done, though.

Great to see you have a new blog. I'm adding you to my bloglines list. I need to do the same as you in the weight department and what a great motivation, a fat quarter for every kilo. I think I'll join you!

You can change your non-reply status by going into your blogger dashboard and click on 'Edit Profile', then under 'Privacy' make sure the box for 'show my email address' is ticked. (At least I think that's how you do it)
